About Prachi

Hello students! My name is Prachi and I'm currently also a student at the University of Texas at Dallas. I'm passionate about teaching and have worked with kids at younger age levels and later moved on to tutoring older children specifically with mathematics. I have expertise in areas like Geometry, Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 from High School and have also previously struggled like many other students with these subjects. My main mission is to offer hope to such students, have them realize that they can master the course they struggle with, as long as they are under the right guidance.

About the lesson

I tend to let students explain how they attempt to solve a problem first, because multiple methods can lead to the same solution.

Gauging what the student is struggling with helps me know what they need practice on.
Once their confusion is cleared, I will offer similar problems to allow them to practice and master their skills.
Assessments like these allow to set goals and track the students' progress better.

Lessons are offered for students from Kindergarten to 8th grade, although if there are general questions beyond specific subjects, I will do my best to help (such as SAT prep).
