About Akithma

I am currently a student at University College London studying Neuroscience, a degree that requires both Mathematics and Biology at a high level.

Having experienced the value of effective tutoring firsthand, I am passionate about helping students reach their potential. In Year 10, I was working at a Grade 4 in Biology, but with the support of an excellent tutor and consistent hard work, I achieved a Grade 9. This experience showed me how transformative the right guidance can be, and it inspired me to help other students improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance.
My lessons focus on identifying and addressing weak areas through targeted practice, helping students build strong subject knowledge and achieve the best grades possible.

About the lesson

I teach both Mathematics and Biology, with lessons tailored to each student's individual needs and areas for improvement.

I primarily use past-paper questions to identify weak areas and target them effectively. Lessons are tailored to each student's needs, with a strong focus on improving exam technique, strengthening understanding of challenging topics, and building confidence. In Biology, particular attention is given to long-answer questions, helping students develop clear, well-structured responses that meet examiner expectations.
