My lessons are flexible and built around what you (or your child) need, whether that's English, basic math, or science, with a special strength in anatomy and biology.
My approach:
I start by figuring out where you're struggling, then focus our time there. I explain things step by step, use simple examples and real-life connections, and let you practice with me before trying on your own. For anatomy and biology, I use visuals, memory tricks, and everyday comparisons to make tricky concepts stick. I keep things patient and encouraging, because mistakes are part of learning!
A typical lesson
- Quick check-in (5 min): How's school going? Any tricky homework or upcoming tests?
- Main focus (30-40 min): We work on the subject you need most, like reading and writing skills, math, or science.
- Practice (10-15 min): You try a few problems or questions while I guide you.
- Wrap-up (5 min): We review what we learned and plan what to work on next.
What sets me apart?
I'm still a student myself, so I remember what it's like to struggle with a subject and find the way that makes it click. My studies in anatomy and biology help me explain the "why" behind things clearly, not just give answers.
