About Olivia

I want to teach because I have found a love for teaching through my experiences. As a student of sociology I also know the great tool that education is and I hope to be apart of helping someone learn something new. Further, as a student, I know that everyone struggles in different ways and I want to share my passion for English and creative writing with someone who may be struggling or mag just want to build their skills. I know the great difference a teacher can make, and I want to make a positive contribution :)

About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring will be informed by my experience teaching online. I teach English as a second language, so will always be patient and explain things properly. I aim to never leave a student wondering why. My lessons will be fun and engaging, for all levels and ages. I currently have experience teaching young children up to adults. Lessons can be adapted to the person’s individual wants and needs, and I hope to put the student at the centre of my planning. Lessons can range in time, based on requests.
