About Ella
My name is Ella Castaldo and I am a junior at the University of Texas at Austin. I am a humanities major studying the effects of music and mindfulness on the brain. I have always been extremely passionate about learning and getting the most out of my education. I worked diligently in high school in order to graduate and attend college early. I started attending Bard College at Simon’s Rock during (what should have been) my senior year of high school. Bard College at Simon’s Rock provides students with the opportunity to attend college early, and is also known for its rigorous writing courses. I was fortunate enough to hone my essay writing skills and receive nominations for writing contests from my professors. I am a strong believer in the importance of learning and aiding students in achieving their academic goals; so, I would like to give other students the same chance at admission into the college of their dreams.
