Introductory classes are very useful in understanding a person's strengths and weaknesses. I have worked with students before from the ages of 12 up to understand what techniques work for them. As a student, I am very understanding of the struggles of comprehension for some, therefore my approach is:
45 mins - 1 hr lessons including 10-minute recaps on previous lessons to enhance cognitive learning, 45 minute lesson time containing new material, and 5 minutes of questions. I allow an extra 5 minutes of time for any questions and for test preps.
