About Seth
Hello! My name is Seth Young. I will be entering the University of Akron in the fall to study Integrated Mathematics for Adolescents to Young Adults. I graduated from Ellet High School with an honors diploma, a 4.2+ GPA, 2 national scholarships, 2 state scholarships, and 3 local scholarships.
As a student myself, I have been tutoring for 6 years in various subjects ranging from 6th grade core classes to AP courses.
In my free time, I enjoy cycling, playing guitar, watching movies, tinkering, drawing, and writing.

I am able to connect with students because I am a student myself. Many of the students I have tutored brought their letter grades from almost failing to average or better!
I can personally understand what a student wants to achieve while recognizing their strengths and weaknesses. I take my time with each student to make sure they truly know the content, even if they are in a rush to get an assignment done.
If a topic doesn’t make sense, we can try different methods, such as visual, auditory, or hands-on, or try applying the subject to something the student likes.
I want students to realize that learning can be fun, and that homework is not necessarily a chore or something that you just have to do.
