About Cidney
I am currently a student at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff Arizona studying Communication Sciences and Disorders while minoring in the Spanish Language. My hope is to become a certified Speech Language Pathologist once completing a graduate program. Prior to beginning my college education, I attended Brawley Union High School where I was an honor and accelerated placement (AP) student. I graduated Summa Cum Laude within the top twenty of my class. This being said, I have always taken pride in my academics, and I am confident I can instill the same sense of pride within my students. Throughout high school I participated in an after school tutoring program where I obtained the majority of my tutoring experience. In addition to this I also provided tutoring services to several clients in my spare time.

As your tutor I aim to provide an encouraging learning environment while utilizing adaptable lesson plans tailored to my students individual learning styles. I am equipped with hands-on learning activities as well as lecture based lessons to ensure a well-rounded experience. My lessons are aimed towards students who are between the kindergarten to sixth grade level, but I have experience working with students up to the eighth grade.
