About Charlie
I am passionate about learning about the history of ideas and critically assessing my own mindset in relation to those ideas. The study of philosophy has had a powerful positive impact on the way that I approach life and I feel passionate about sharing that with others. My sessions are light hearted, relaxed and powered by interest.
Having said this, I am also skilled in guiding students in the art of essay writing and achieving high grades in exams.

My approach to teaching philosophy is one that asks the student to personally engage with the ideas presented. Student's of Philosophy thrive when encouraged to form their own opinions and engage with each major thinker with a critical attitude while feeling empowered in their own personal views.
I can teach philosophy at A level, IB and at first year undergraduate level.
A typical lesson length can be from 1 to 2 hours depending on the needs of the client.
