About Mia
I am passionate about language in more ways than one. I, myself, like to learn languages, and I have been an avid reader and writer my entire life. I want to help people learn to interact with language— written, spoken, and read— in ways that are becoming harder to learn in the digital age. I am invested in learning myself, and know how to adjust for people's needs. While I can teach in a relatable and approachable way, I know how to prioritize goals and needs.

Hi! My name is Mia, and I've been helping people in my life learn English, spoken and written, my whole life. As someone from an immigrant background, I know how to teach English as a second language, as well as helping students with English literature, essay writing, and comprehension. I'm passionate about grammar, especially uses that have gotten more and more rare. I'm an experienced public speaker, and have refined skills in writing for public speaking, as well as creative writing. I understand everyone learns differently, and am flexible to meet the needs of any and all students.
