About Ellie
My name is Ellie, and I am currently studying to become a registered primary school teacher. Through my teacher education program and school-based placements, I have gained valuable experience working with Year 0–2 students and supporting their learning across a range of curriculum areas.
Outside of teaching, I am a very active person who enjoys playing winter netball, indoor netball, and summer football. I also have a passion for the outdoors and love spending time in nature. When I am relaxing, I enjoy reading on my Kindle and taking time to unwind with a good book.
Teaching is something I am truly passionate about. I absolutely love the opportunity to work in schools, support students in their learning, and continue developing my own teaching practice. I look forward to my placement days each week and get excited about creating positive learning experiences for students. Seeing children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding parts of becoming a teacher.
I am enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping students feel confident and successful in their learning. My aim is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where every student feels valued and motivated to do their best.

As a student teacher studying to become a registered primary school teacher, I bring knowledge, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed. Literacy is a particular strength of mine, and I love helping students develop their reading, writing, and spelling skills . lessons are important to ensure each child's individual needs, learning style, and goals are achieved so they feel supported and motivated throughout their learning journey.
My teaching methods include modelling, guided practice, interactive activities, and providing feedback to help students make progress at their own pace. I also use a variety of resources and strategies to keep lessons engaging and meaningful.
Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes long. My aim is to help students not only improve academically but also develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. While my experience has primarily been with younger learners, I am happy to work with older primary school students.
