About Emma
When I was younger, I really liked the logic of Maths, it looked like challenges and games to be solved. Growing up, Sciences seemed to me to be an essential tool for understanding the world around me. I always thought there was a natural predisposition to be successful in math or science more generally, that there were naturally good people and others that would never speak to. This especially occurred to me in high school where I felt that my efforts could not compete with the gifts of some. There is surely a little of that, of course, but my first year in higher education convinced me that success only comes with WORK and METHOD. We still have to know HOW to work, something to which we are obviously not sufficiently aware.

The main thing lies in the positioning of the context in which we work. The course begins by defining with the student the challenges of the chapter, the major concepts covered. This allows you to know where you are going and avoids the robotic accumulation of knowledge. The ideal is to write together a minpmap at the end of each lesson so that the student and the teacher are in agreement on the concepts assimilated or not.
