About Gauthier
I am a student of philosophy at La Sorbonne Pantheon, after having obtained my Literary degree with honors. I have always enjoyed discussing my passions and sharing knowledge. I give classes to elementary and high school students and would like to give some to high school students to prepare them for the baccalaureate of French and philosophy. Having myself been very reluctant to the school system, I listen to my students and try to give them an additional motivation, and offers courses approached in a totally different and more open way.

I teach many different subjects (French, literature, philosophy, personal writing, methodology ...) so the methods diverge. In general, I like a student to learn by himself, by engaging in a discussion animating live classes and in a good mood. However, it is essential to rely on written courses that I prepare in advance, as well as readings of text or even novels for the most volunteers! I base my classes on a student's will (format, frequency etc.) so that they are a pleasure and not an obligation.
