About Sasha
I am a passionate and experienced swim coach dedicated to helping swimmers of all ages and skill levels build confidence in the water. With a background as a swim instructor and volunteer surf lifeguard, I have developed strong teaching techniques that focus on safety, technique, and enjoyment. My lessons are tailored to each swimmer’s needs, whether they are beginners learning the basics or advanced swimmers refining their strokes. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can progress at their own pace while developing essential swimming skills. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, effective, and fun.

My coaching approach focuses on building confidence in the water while developing strong foundational skills. I use a combination of demonstration, guided practice, and individualized feedback to cater to different learning styles. For beginners, I emphasize water safety, floating, and basic strokes, using fun and engaging drills to make learning enjoyable. For more advanced swimmers, I refine technique, efficiency, and endurance through structured drills and video analysis if applicable. I also incorporate progressive skill-building, ensuring swimmers master one skill before moving to the next.
A typical swim lesson lasts 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the swimmer’s age, skill level, and stamina. Younger or beginner swimmers usually benefit from shorter lessons to maintain focus, while more experienced swimmers may train for up to an hour.
I have experience as a swim instructor and volunteer surf lifeguard, giving me both formal training in stroke techniques and water safety, as well as real-life experience in aquatic environments. My background includes working with swimmers of all ages, from young children learning to swim to adults improving their technique.
