About Harvey
I'm a keen pianist with a very strong interest in jazz piano and boogie-woogie styles. I've been playing for several years and have experience performing in live settings such as bars and at weddings. I'm currently grade 7 and working towards my grade 8. I believe learning piano should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience and I aim to make the lessons relaxed, engaging and supportive for every student.

My lessons are relaxed, practical and suited to whatever the student is keen to learn. My main focus is helping students enjoy the piano whilst also building the fundamentals to becoming a good piano player. I have experience playing jazz piano in bars and at weddings, so I would bring a real-world approach to learning jazz. My lessons are suited to whatever the student wants to learn. I have lots of experience in improvisation, I think it's a key skill and is something very enjoyable therefore my lessons will be more suited to improv students. Lessons will typically be 60 minutes and are suited to all levels, whether you're a beginner wanting to start the piano or an advanced pianist looking to improve your improvisation skills.
