About Karis
I am a student of English and Philosophy, keen to analyse the world around me and study literature in the context of culture. Not only am I keen to earn in a manner which enhances my own learning but I am passionate about the academic welfare and progression of students, having been in a similar situation myself and reaping the benefits of private tuition. In completing a Level 5 TEFL Qualification, I am keen to experience teaching in different cultures.

Tuition is an opportunity to create a safe and dynamic learning environment which is separate from the pressures of the classroom. Nevertheless, academia is the main focus of my tuition, but in a manner which suits the learning styles of both student and teacher. Literature is not a restrictive medium- this element of artistic expression will allow for creativity in learning.
