About Nicolas

I am currently a student in an engineering school (1st year of the engineering cycle) in Mechanics and Automation (ICAM in Lille, France). Previously, I obtained a 2-year-college diploma in Physics &Chemistry and a Research diploma (Master 2 in France) in Education specializing in Educational Paths and Difficulties and have since worked as a school tutor, for various organizations and as a self-entrepreneur.

About the lesson

Knowing and understanding the lesson is the first step to mastering it, so I start each session by repeating the course, which we then apply to various, progressive exercises. I try to make the concepts as clear for the student as possible, and I suggest mnemonic techniques to better remember the course. I also help students organize themselves better and think about their future studies. We set ourselves short and medium term goals. Depending on the level of the student, we can for example seek to master a specific concept, or aim higher than the "expected" school level. The key word of my methodology is therefore my adaptation to the student.

For junior high school students : 15€/h/
For high school students, 17 to 20€/h depending on the grade.
The price includes documents sent by e-mail, but I can also send a printed version upon request for an additional fee (to cover printing and shipping).
For summer tutoring, the price is that of the grade the student just ended.
