I am an IT engineer currently studying business at Concordia. I have +3years of private tutoring experience, on different tutoring portals, both with groups (2-3 people) and personal (1 on 1), with pupils at different education levels ( I have tutored high school students, CEGEP, as well as university students).

My teaching methods are fairly rigorous: I start off with teaching the theory accompanied by explanations and answering any questions the student might have about the material presented. Then, together with the student, we reinforce the concepts learned with numerous problems and practical applications (either from the student's course/exam book, or examples from past exams, or just ones I see fit). Lastly, I assign the student with homework to further practice the material we went over together. I base my courses off of the student's needs and wants in concordance with the course/exam they are preparing for. I use a lot of visual representations (graphs, geometry, technical drawings, visual representations of worded problems) to enhance the learning experience. Last but not least, I make sure to explain and go over again the concepts/problems the student had/has most difficulties with a handful of times, and preferably with different explanations at every iteration, so that they gain a hollistic understanding of the matter at hand.
