About Lily
Hi, my name is Lily! I am 22 and I moved to Christchurch 3 years ago from Palmerston North. I live in Christchurch Central, opposite Hagley. I like to read, cook, knit, and play tennis in my free time. I am currently doing my double major in math and physics at UC, and I would love to one day become a lecturer!
If I told young me that I would one day pursue math as a career I don't think I would've believed you. It wasn't until I had a math teacher in high school who completely changed my mindset, and everything all of a sudden everything just "clicked"! It's rewarding to see my students get the same "aha moment".

My tutoring approach is personalised and tailored to meet the learning needs of the student. I keep an open line of communication with my students via email/text and prepare notes and practice questions ahead of each lesson. I ensure my students gain a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, beyond mere memorisation.
