About Rachel
I am a first-year medical student in 2019, having completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in human biology in 2018. I have experience tutoring in classroom environments at University, with in-home sessions with kids of age 5-18 and with tutoring refugees and migrants in English language. I have a passion for helping people to realise their potential!

I like to arrange my sessions based on what the student thinks or knows will work well for them - if they do not know, then I tend to try a few different approaches and see what works best and what is most enjoyable. The end goal of tutoring is also important - if we are trying to pass an exam we will use the syllabus as the skeleton of our work, but if we're tutoring to get a better grip on things we'll focus on what's holding you back.
