About Sebastian
Hello! My name is Sebastian and I am currently a student at UC Davis, majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. During high school, I took AP Biology and AP Environmental Science, so I believe I have a great grasp on biological concepts in high school. Additionally, in a state competition for HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America), I earned first place in competing for Biology, further honing in my expertise in the subject. I am very eager to share my knowledge regarding biology with others.

In tutoring, I take a methodical approach. I prefer to carefully walk students through problems of difficulty, ensuring the underlying concept is grasped. Also, in understanding complex topics, I believe it's important to relate them to basic, real-life scenarios. This way, my students can remember complex topics better. Over time, this approach should also help students appreciate the material more as well. At the end of the day, I prefer to listen to students and hear how they want to learn. I would prefer if I adjust to their learning rather than students adjusting to my teaching.
