About Eloise
I am a student myself, and know the struggles and pressures certain subjects can have on a person, that is why I love teaching maths to others to motivate and inspire them to keep going and show them that it is not all that scary. I thoroughly enjoy maths and every lesson with me will show my enthusiasm for the subject which is extremely important when teaching to leave a mark on the student and allow them to start enjoying it too. My aim is to help students to grow to a point they are comfortable with what they are learning and really understand the depths of it.

I teach to the student, meaning I evaluate how the student best learns and what they are most comfortable with. For example, I have taught students that find it easiest to learn with memory games like using flashcards, so it was important to me to incorporate that into their lessons. Lessons can range from 1 hour to 2 depending on the availability of the student and myself. I work from platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Skype. I have tutored a lot during high school as I regularly attended maths extracurricular to help younger students. Overall, my lessons are aimed at high school students (11-16).
