About Diya

I am a student completing my 10th grade from LiIavatibai Podar Senior Secondary School,ICSE.I am willing to give tuitions to students from grade 1 to grade 10.I live in Bandra (west) and I am willing to take tuitions from home as well as I am willing to come to the students house.I feel I can teach the students well because at this stage of my life I am just completing my schooling and I have everything fresh in my mind.Also because I have just ended with my school I feel that if the students have any problems I can help them calm down and can give them a little counselling (free of cost).

About the lesson

My teaching method is:
1).I will be taking the help of tools to stimulate creativity.I will include playful games or forms of visual exercises that will excite young minds and capture their interest as this is a time-tested method to identify every young student’s creative abilities and encourage creative contributions.
2).I would incorporate audio-visual materials to supplement textbooks during my sessions. These can be models, filmstrips, movies, pictures, infographics or other mind mapping and brain mapping tools.
Such tools will help their imagination thrive and grow.
3).Some lessons are best learnt, when they are taught outside of the classroom.So I would organize field trips that are relevant to the lessons or just simply take students for a walk outside.(Only if the students parents find it comfortable)
4).Rudyard Kipling rightly said, “If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten.”
Storyboarding is a great way to teach any subject which requires step-by-step memorization or visualization highly-conceptual ideas.
5).Learning is fun when puzzles and games are part of education.
Puzzles and games help children to think creatively and face challenges.I would set puzzles for the children so that they start enjoying studying.

If there are two or more tuitions for the class I will reduce my charges.
My charges shall be the same for the weakest students as well as the brightest students.
If any student has any difficulty in learning the subjects I teach him I would take extra classes for that particular student (either in my house or else in the respected students house)
