About Samiha

I'm Samiha! Im 19 years old, and so If your'e around my age I know I'll be able to connect with you and understand your difficulties at a more personal level. I myself have struggled with certain English courses, and would love to give back to the community that has helped me and shaped me to be a better and stronger reader and writer. I truly believe this help from tutors like me, have allowed me to now attend an ivy league university.

About the lesson

My teaching method is rooted in active engagement and personalized learning. I believe in creating a dynamic and interactive environment where students are encouraged to think critically and actively participate in their learning process. I employ a mix of the Socratic method, project-based learning, and multimedia resources to cater to diverse learning styles and keep lessons engaging. By asking open-ended questions, encouraging discussions, and integrating real-world applications, I help students connect theoretical concepts with practical understanding.

A Typical Lesson Plan

Briefly review the previous lesson and connect it to the new topic.
Introduce the day’s objectives and key concepts.
Engagement

Use an engaging activity (e.g., a thought-provoking question, a short video, or a quick experiment) to spark interest and curiosity.
Instruction

Present the new material through a mix of direct instruction, interactive discussions, and multimedia resources.
Use visual aids, diagrams, and real-life examples to enhance understanding.
Guided Practice

Work through examples and problems together, encouraging students to think aloud and explain their reasoning.
Provide immediate feedback and address any misconceptions.
Independent Practice

Assign practice problems or a small project related to the lesson.
Circulate to offer support, answer questions, and provide individual feedback.

Summarize key points and revisit the lesson objectives.
Discuss the next steps and preview the upcoming lesson.
Encourage students to reflect on what they learned and ask any remaining questions.
