About Mili

I’m an ambitious and energetic student going to study Philosophy, Politics, and Economics PPE) at the University of Birmingham. Having achieved top grades myself: including 9s in GCSE Maths, English, and French, as well as in 5 more GCSEs, and an A in A-Level Economics. I’m eager to share the skills and techniques that helped me succeed. I genuinely enjoy helping others build confidence in their subjects, and I believe that with the right support and approach, every student can excel. Tutoring allows me to combine my academic strengths with my passion for teaching, and I’m excited to work with students to help them reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is structured, supportive, and results-driven. I work methodically through the syllabus, ensuring that each topic is thoroughly understood before moving on... I regularly test students on what they’ve learned to reinforce knowledge and identify any areas that need further attention. Each lesson includes time for questions and clarification to ensure full comprehension, as well as 24/7 support outside of sessions so students can reach out with questions at any time!! Lessons typically run for an hour but can be adjusted to suit individual needs. I have experience providing one-to-one tutoring for both GCSE and A-Level students and hold top grades myself — achieving 9s in GCSE Maths, English, and French, and an A* in A-Level Economics. My goal is always to build confidence and competence in my students, helping them to reach and exceed their academic targets.

Mili tutored my sister in maths throughout Year 9, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. We found her through Superprof when my sister was really struggling with confidence in maths, and Mili made a real difference from the very first few sessions.
What stood out most was her patience,she never rushed through a topic, and had a real gift for breaking down concepts my sister found intimidating into simple, manageable steps. She adjusted her explanations until things actually made sense, rather than just moving on.
The biggest change we saw was in my sister's attitude towards the subject itself. She went from dreading maths to actually enjoying it, asking to do extra practice, which was unheard of before. That shift in mindset was honestly just as valuable as the academic progress.
Mili is a brilliant, patient tutor who genuinely cares about her students' understanding and confidence, not just their grades. Highly recommended.
