Hello dear reader!
My name is Santiago and I am a current Biology major and longtime Biology enthusiast seeking to make your experience with school science easier, and more enjoyable. My goal is to teach the material that you are learning in class with an in depth logical progression, as well as teach various study techniques that will make your school and potentially university experience much easier and more fulfilling. My teaching methodology focuses on teaching students how to learn and think efficiently. By using a variety of evidence based techniques and tools my ultimate goal is to equip students with the learning tools that they will need throughout their schooling.
A typical lesson begins with an assessment of how the student tackles learning the relevant materials, followed by an in depth dive into the material itself using one of many learning techniques that I myself use in my university earning, and ultimately ending with a feedback session and a brief rundown of what will be covered in the next session.
As a Biology tutor I endeavour to teach the big picture of biological sciences and equip my students with the ability to follow the logical progression of the subject that will prove invaluable in later years.
These lessons are for students who are struggling with basic biology coursework, as well as students who want a deeper understanding of the topic for an eventual career in life sciences or a related field.
