About Erin

I am a college student who graduated from the Long Beach Polytechnic High School PACE (Program of Additional Curricular Experiences) program with honors in 2023.

I had a wonderful support system throughout my educational career with college preparatory activities beginning at age 14, leading to my current role as a student double-majoring in English and Legal Studies at UC Berkeley.

After being accepted to the PACE program in 2019, I took nine AP classes during my four years at Poly High School and received the AP Capstone stole, which I proudly wore at my graduation.

I recently completed my first year of college with a 4.0 GPA while taking upper-division courses and would be happy to help students gain an advantage to further their own academic journeys.

About the lesson

I plan to advance any English mechanisms necessary, ranging from reading a children's book page to writing a literary analysis with proper citations. While building upon current skills, the student will learn at a tailored rate best fit for their education level.

I would like to read over class materials from their school assignments to see what reading/writing level they are at.

As a college sophomore, I find that I can connect well with younger students. I fondly recall my favorite teachers being people who made learning very enjoyable through aligning the child's interests with what we are studying.
