About Shawntay

I Graduated Summa Cum Laude and have a Bachelors' degree in Healthcare Administration. I have tutored and mentored over 10 students, of varying ages, in varying subjects. I am easy going, detail- oriented, and have a passion for writing. I hope to soon be a published author.

About the lesson

My teaching method is to build knowledge and confidence in subject areas of concern, and to encourage student morale and good performance in areas of proficient skill. ESL (English as Second Language), Grammar, Rhetoric, Syntax, Research, APA formatting, proper sentence structure, and essay writing are just a few of the lessons I can offer.

I met Shawntay through a referral from another parent and am very happy we followed up, Shawntay knows her stuff! Was impressed with her knowledge and proficiency in the areas of grammar, syntax and writing. She is timely, very patient, interactive, engaging and passionate, and is committed to seeing growth and success in her student. We do recommend Ms. Shawntay to other parents because she is a professional and caring tutor, who is always bubbly and full of energy!
