About Sasmitha
Hello! I am a Grade 12 student graduating this June, and I will be heading to university in the fall to study Law and Society. I’m a girl with big aspirations—working towards being a corporate lawyer one day! I am also interested in creative writing and storytelling. English is my favorite subject; I have always loved books and writing and helping others find joy and confidence in language. I truly enjoy working with kids and finding a way to create a friendly, encouragement-filled environment that makes learning seem manageable and enjoyable. I am here to help students and see them succeed whether it be helping with reading or writing, grammar, or as a homework assistant!

Individualized Instruction: I understand that students learn differently, so I plan each session around your learning style and goals.
Clear Explanations: I ensure I don't overwhelm you with lots of information in a brief time span, but explore a concept piece by piece explained in depth so you can fully understand each part.
Active Participation: I hope you were involved in the session/lesson by asking questions, working through examples, and collaborating together. It's never about sitting back and simply taking information in from the front.
Homework and Test Preparation: Every homework assignment or upcoming test allowed me to help you feel successful or prepared.
Skills Development: I appreciate I try to create a learning experience surrounding problem solving and math, but most importantly have chosen to take time to focus on critical thinking and study skills that are transferable skills across all subjects.
