As a math tutor, my goal is to make math feel less intimidating and more approachable for students. I believe that everyone can succeed in math with the right guidance and practice.
My teaching style is student-focused. I adapt my explanations based on how you learn best. I break down complex concepts into smaller, easier steps, and use real-life examples to make the material more relatable. I also focus a lot on building confidence, not just solving problems.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by working through current topics using examples and practice problems. I like to make it interactive by asking guiding questions, explain mistakes without judgment, and encourage students to think out loud. At the end, we do a short recap and I leave the student with tips or exercises to try on their own.
I am patient, friendly, and I remember what it was like to struggle with math at times. I explain things in a simple, relatable way and make sure students feel comfortable and confident. Plus, as a university student myself, I know how to connect with younger learners and understand their academic pressure.
My lessons are perfect for middle school to high school students, especially those who want help with homework, exam prep, or just want to improve their overall understanding of math. Whether you are struggling or want to get ahead, I am here to help you feel more confident and capable in math!
