My teaching approach focuses on helping students truly understand math concepts rather than simply memorizing steps. I break down problems into clear, step-by-step explanations and use practice questions and real examples to reinforce learning. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s individual pace and learning style to ensure they fully grasp the material.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material or homework, followed by identifying specific areas where the student is struggling. I then guide the student through worked examples step-by-step before having them practice similar problems with my support. Each session ends with a summary of key concepts and, if needed, additional practice to strengthen understanding.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to simplify complex topics and create a comfortable, supportive learning environment. I focus on building confidence and independent problem-solving skills, while also providing useful tips, shortcuts, and test strategies to help students improve both accuracy and speed.
My lessons are designed for elementary, middle school, and high school students who need support in algebra, geometry, and general calculations.
