About Raina
I worked for 17 years in many hospitals as a Women's Health, maternal newborn/GYN nurse. This includes two years as a travel nurse. During this time, I also did home health for two years. Since then, I became a nurse practitioner and spent 11 years in a family practice clinic caring for patient across the lifespan managing acute and chronic illnesses. I currently work in student health for health science center/university. I truly care about taking care of people. Shaping the health care providers of our future is an important part of good patient care.

I have a wealth of knowledge spanning 29 years! I know what it is like to be a student at every level. I started with an Associate degree, went on for BSN and eventually MSN, FNP-C. I have a minor in nursing education and currently work in a teaching facility. I work in a university student health clinic for a health sciences center with a nursing program. I do precept our students so I understand your struggles and your needs. My hospital nursing background was in Women's Health: maternal newborn and GYN nursing. I also did home health and travel nursing. If you need help with nursing basics, pharmacology, maternal newborn or women's health or FNP knowledge, I can help.
