About Bobby
I really got back into chess 4 years ago and have greatly improved since. I started as a 1200 and am now 1800 CFC and 2170 Chess.com rated. I had the best performance in 2023 Canadian University Chess Championships Reserve Section. I truly believe that chess is a beautiful game and I want to share that feeling with as many as I can.

My teaching style has a strong focus on getting you to think tactically. I will show you how to pose real threats to your opponents in all stages of the game. I will also show you how to take a bad position and make it complicated giving you a chance for a comeback. Each lesson will start with you bringing a game for me to review that you struggled in. We will go over the game together and after we will do some puzzles to improve on your tactical vision in the areas you missed in game.
