About Kristen

I am a senior studying Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience at the University of Richmond. I started tutoring in high school and have been a peer tutor at UR for about 3 years now. I have tutored dozens of students in Calculus I and II as well as biology and chemistry. I have received great reviews and thanks from students and from professors whose students have worked with me.

About the lesson

I can tutor high school and college students. I like to take a collaborative approach to tutoring by working through problems and questions with students. I can also help with general concept review in more of a lecture style if that is preferred. I can be very flexible in my methods, and I am always willing to adjust how I explain concepts. I typically make extensive use of virtual whiteboards and the Zoom platform.
