About Paul
I have grown a passion for chemistry over the past two years. This was due to having such an amazing and enthusiastic chemistry teacher at school. It is my hope that I can pass on this enthusiasm to younger students, which I believe in turn will lead to better grades. I currently work in one of the UK’s leading private schools, so have plenty of experience with children of every ability. I wish to make chemistry accessible to everyone.

I have firsthand experience with the current A- level and GCSE syllabus. Having taken my A levels last year and achieving an A* in chemistry. I also achieved a 9 in GCSE chemistry. I believe this firsthand experience with the syllabus allows me to connect with students and deliver high quality comprehensive lessons, identifying and explaining in great detail any more complex parts of the curriculum. I use recall based learning, teaching the theory first, and testing understanding later. This is done, using my own notes and exam questions, giving your child a tailor made lesson. I believe discussion is also important in lessons, as ensuring that the student is engaged provides the best results come exam time. I currently work at a high achieving school, therefore having plenty of experience with children and how to best accommodate the needs of every individual child.
