About Ankit

I’m an experienced tutor with over 50 hours of tutoring through the National Honor Society. I’ve also provided math support through my school’s Math Club and regularly assisted in after-school SAT study groups. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in their abilities and reach their academic goals. My approach is patient, clear, and focused on making complex concepts easier to grasp.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I utilize a structured, patient approach that emphasizes developing deep understanding rather than just memorizing. I alter each lesson to fit the student's preferred learning style and speed, making difficult ideas understandable and doable through extensive explanations, guided practice, and immediate feedback. An average lesson consists of a brief check-in to discuss goals, a detailed review of recent content, a thorough explanation of important ideas or problems, and a brief conclusion to confirm learning objectives and make plans for the future. I stand out because I recently finished these same high school and AP courses myself, graduating with straight As, so I know the material and the mindset required to succeed. I have more than fifty hours of experience as a tutor, and helped students achieve real progress, including raising one student's math grade from a D to an A-. I tutor math from elementary to high school (including AP Statistics), science (AP Bio, APCSP, APES, HS Chem, HS Physics), English (AP Lang), AP Government.
