About Colette
I am an English tutor with over 3 years of experience helping young learners begin their reading journey with confidence. I hold a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Professional Writing, which strengthened my passion for storytelling and early literacy. I truly enjoy introducing children to the wonderful world of books. Stories help young minds grow curious and imaginative.
I work mainly with emergent readers and early elementary students. My lessons focus on improving reading comprehension and developing phonological awareness. We explore colorful picture books and exciting characters together. Interactive storytelling keeps students engaged and eager to learn.
I also include creative play and fun reading activities in every lesson. These activities help children connect sounds, words, and meaning naturally. Learning becomes joyful and confidence grows step by step. I love seeing students become excited about reading. Together we explore stories, ideas, and new vocabulary.
