About John
Hello, I’m John and I have a Master’s in Biotechnology from Columbia University. My passion is all about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) and its application in the real world.
To date I have over twenty years of experience in all areas of STEM and honed my skills as an adjunct visiting professor, tutor, and remain an advocate for education. I have worked one-on-one, in small groups and in large lecture halls with hundreds of students. Some topics I have covered are Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have taught at all levels and disciplines and look forward to connecting with you no matter the age or subject.

My passion is all about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) and its application in the real world. As one can imagine these topics can be very difficult and create unwanted stress. Together we learn the needed content and develop strategies for success. The learning environment will be engaging and fun. I am always willing to go the extra mile because we are a team. I bring my academic and professional experiences to the table each day with the same energy. The topics are introduced through individual creative lesson plans as one size does not fit all. Once we have a solid foundation, then we apply and build understanding versus memorization.
