About Lexi
I am currently getting my masters in statistics with a minor in math education. I used to hate math until I had a teacher who helped me understand it's not as hard as it looks! My hope in tutoring is to give my tutee's that same experience! I have been tutoring for about five years now and so far I have accomplished this goal with the majority of my students.

I like to approach math in an applicable manner. My philosophy is that unless you can use it in your everyday life, why learn it? I don't believe in criticism and negative self talk. My goal is to reward each correctly-solved problem with positivity and to turn every problem not correctly solved into an opportunity to challenge your brain into becoming even smarter!
