About Soumik
My math learning experience started back in 2009 when I enrolled in St. Xavier's college in India to do my bachelors in Statistics. Subsequently I started my master's degree in 2012 and finished in 2014. I have three years of data science industry experience from 2014 to 2017. I came to USA in 2017 to pursue my Ph.D. in statistics from University of Connecticut. I finished my Ph.D. in 2021 and started working at Binghamton University as a visiting assistant professor. Since Fall 2023 I am working at Canisius university, Buffalo as a tenure track assistant professor.

4) I am capable of teaching a wide variety of courses starting from basic high school moth to all the way up to advanced statistics and data science coding classes.
