About Maxfield
I have been a teacher for the last two years for students aged 11 up to university. Through my experience I've learned how to adapt to many different levels and approaches to education. I've been privately tutoring for over 6 years as well, including piano - I most of all prefer the one-on-one environment for the sake of being able to understand the needs of the individual student as accurately as possible. It gives me no greater sense of satisfaction than to see the measurable progress of someone persevering to learn in their own unique way and to know that I was a part of their growth.

Lessons are in classical style, with music reading, theory, and technique included if desired. Basic jazz theory is available as well. Lessons can last between 30 minutes to an hour, according to your preference. I am open to teaching any age of student, and any level up to Grade 8 of the ABRSM Piano anthology. Having completed a similar program in the United States and receiving my licence to teach, please inform me if you are formally taking the exams and I will accommodate to your program!
