About Marcie

I was a classroom science teacher for 16 years. During that time I tried to create a welcoming and warm classroom. A place where students could be themselves, not feel nervous to make mistakes, and feel confident to challenge themselves.

About the lesson

I utilize visuals, video tutorials, apps such as NearPod , EduCreations to make online tutoring a valuable experience with my students. Direct instruction is not effective- I want to make my students feel comfortable and confident from the start. I encourage students to ask questions throughout our session to best assist them.
