About Hannah
I graduated from Stanford University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honours. While at Stanford, I was a teaching assistant in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences as well as the Graduate School of Education.
I am currently a Master of Research candidate in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology at University College London. Next academic year, I will be conducting clinical and behavioural research as an exchange scholar in the Department of Psychology at Yale University.
I graduated from Stanford with a GPA of 3.86/4.00 and a major GPA of 4.09/4.00. I earned 41 points in IB and eight A*s and one A in my IGCSEs. I scored in the 99th percentile in my SAT.

Proofreading Service:
This service is useful for secondary students, undergraduates and postgraduates.
My students share their writing with me (via email, Google Docs, etc.) so that I can read it prior to meeting with them. This typically includes about an hour of chargeable time; however, this varies based on the length, sophistication and complexity of the student's written work. I then meet with the student to provide detailed comments and suggestions for improvement. If helpful for the student, I will read through their work with them line by line, making suggestions, asking questions, and helping the student develop their writing.
Essay Writing Guidance:
This service is most appropriate for secondary students who want to improve their writing skills. The service involves me teaching the student more broadly about essay format and structure, paragraph construction, formulating an argument, and improving writing style.
My teaching methodology is inherently flexible; my experience has taught me the importance of adapting how I teach to individual students' literacy level, goals, ways of thinking, and preferred modes of learning.
I use a fairly formulaic approach when working with GCSE/IB students. I study curricula and mark schemes so that I am able to coach my students on how to perform well on their upcoming exams.
