About Mark
I am a Sport and Exercise Science graduate pursuing a career in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. At university I specialised in skeletal muscle physiology, nutrition and cardiovascular physiology. I don't have any prior experience in tutoring/teaching yet but I have a real passion for these subjects and would love to share the knowledge I have acquired over the past few years!

I initially seek to gain an understanding of the student's existing knowledge as well as areas that they are struggling to grasp, and use this to tailor each lesson to ensure the student gains as much knowledge as possible.
As a student myself, I always found visual aids such as images, diagrams, charts and graphs with supporting notes to be most effective for not only remembering the content, but developing a thorough understanding of the content too. I try to integrate visual aids into each lesson where possible, whilst also considering techniques that the student feels they benefit from most.
I absolutely hated as a student when lecturers would fly through the slides at a ridiculous speed without giving students time to make any valuable notes. I always work at a speed the student is comfortable working at and welcome questions throughout the lesson to clarify anything they are unsure of.
