About Shubhankar

I am an all India Rank 3 in ICSE Class 10 Board Exams. I studied Microbiology for my bachelors since I was into Biology in my school life. But I was deeply interested in studying cultures, histories and languages of different places and people. Currently, I am pursuing a Masters in European Politics, History and Culture at Manipal University and in University of Trento, Italy. I love teaching languages and cultures to different students and have been teaching for the last 6 years now. I have taughts kids and adults both and both seem to have a great time with me.

About the lesson

Working professional in Bengal who wants to learn more Hindi to keep up with the people around you? Newly married to a Bengali/ Hindi speaker and want to learn more of his/her language to impress him/her and the in-laws? Or a student who wants to improve the score in Hindi or English? Or simply a language enthusiast who wants to spend some quality time learning Hindi/Bengali or English?

I find out what the students are really learning the language for. Accordingly, I tailor my teaching methods to suit their goals.

Generally, I follow a very conversational style of teaching. We watch movies together, and I stop at every line to explain the meaning. I also teach with books, stories and PDFs. I teach various parts of a culture strating from food to music, dance and festivals using the language. I focus on correct pronunciation and therefore share lots of videos to practise with. I also engage my students in games and activities that bring the creativity in them and at the same time, open them to the language they want to learn. I speak Hindi, English and Bengali with fluency, so if any of you want to learn any of them, feel free to get in touch.

I have taught many students in the last few years from ICSE and CBSE and helped them score well above 90% in English and Hindi. You can completely count on me!
