About Niamh

As a qualified tutor with a background in Speech Pathology, I bring a strong foundation in effective communication, individualised teaching strategies, and a genuine commitment to student success. My approach is built on creating a safe, encouraging environment where students feel supported to ask questions, tackle challenges, and achieve their best.

With experience in tutoring English and HPE, I understand the importance of adapting my methods to suit each student's unique learning style. I believe in teaching with patience, clarity, and a structured plan that helps students grow in confidence and academic skills. Each lesson is thoughtfully prepared, balancing interactive activities and focused learning to keep students engaged.

I am passionate about inspiring students to reach their full potential and am committed to providing professional, reliable support to help them excel.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is centred on creating a supportive, engaging, and tailored learning environment for each student. I use interactive and adaptive teaching techniques that align with students' unique learning styles, focusing on breaking down complex concepts into understandable, manageable parts. I often incorporate visual aids, practical examples, and interactive exercises to make lessons dynamic and enjoyable.

Each session typically lasts around 60 minutes, providing ample time to cover material, answer questions, and review key points. I have experience tutoring in English and HPE and am also a qualified Speech Pathologist, which has enhanced my skills in communication, individualised support, and understanding of learning needs. My background allows me to adapt quickly to different academic levels and tailor my sessions accordingly.

My lessons are designed for school-aged students, typically in primary and secondary levels, but I am flexible to support students across different age groups and academic stages. My goal is to help each student build confidence, improve academically, and foster a lifelong love for learning.
