About Ella
I am a Speech Language Pathology Assistant with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences and a Minor in Human Development and Family Sciences. Through my experience working with children in both educational and therapeutic settings, I have developed a strong passion for and understanding of child development, communication, and the skills needed for academic and everyday success.
I have experience supporting students with a wide range of learning styles and abilities, which has taught me the importance of meeting a child exactly where they are and identifying their personal strengths. I strive to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students can feel supported and confident as they learn.
Families can feel confident knowing that they are working with someone that has experience and education in child language development along with a deep care for making learning and growth a positive experience.

I believe children learn best when lessons are engaging, personalized, and built around their individual strengths. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with a background in Communication Disorders and Sciences along with Human Development and Family Sciences, I use my knowledge of language development, literacy skills, and child learning strategies to create supportive and effective tutoring sessions.
My approach combines structured learning with fun, interactive activities. I focus on building confidence while strengthening skills through personalized instruction, breaking complex concepts into smaller, achievable steps, and positive reinforcement to build motivation and confidence.
Each lesson begins with a brief review of previous skills and a discussion of the student's current goals. We then work through targeted activities focused on reading, language, vocabulary, comprehension, or communication skills. I incorporate practice opportunities, feedback, and strategies the student can continue using independently.
My experience as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant allows me to look beyond simply completing assignments and focus on how each child learns best. I have experience working with children with a variety of communication and learning needs, and understand the importance of patience, creativity, and individualized support. My goal is to help students become confident communicators and lifelong learners.
