I am in my last year of graduate school for Communication Sciences and Disorders to become a Speech Language Pathologist. I have experience working as a tutor for elementary, middle, and high schoolers across subjects. During undergrad, I was a writing tutor working on higher level tutoring.

As an SLP graduate student, my focus is on working with others to communicate in their daily world. Reading and writing are essential to academics as well as social success.
I focus on developing the core language skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammar through interactive lessons and practical exercises. Rather than simply teaching rules, I help students understand how to use English effectively in real-life situations and academic settings.
For literature, I focus on teaching how to discern core principles of narratives, story structure, character development, and other literary devices that are essential to comprehension.
