About Asher
With 20 years of experience in teaching violin, I have successfully helped around 300 students, including high school students, college learners, and adults, to build confidence and improve their skills step by step. My teaching approach is simple, practical, and student-focused, as I believe learning should be easy to understand and enjoyable.
I focus on important areas such as posture, bow control, rhythm, and tone quality, ensuring strong fundamentals. I explain concepts clearly and provide exercises that support consistent progress. One of my key achievements is helping students improve steadily and perform comfortably in front of others.
My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident, motivated, and excited to continue their musical journey.

My violin teaching methodology focuses on communication, flexibility, and real-world application of skills. I recognize that every student learns differently, so I carefully adapt my lessons to their pace, learning style, and goals.
I emphasize foundational skills such as posture, bowing techniques, fingering accuracy, and tone production, while also encouraging musical expression and creativity. To make learning engaging, I incorporate real-life examples such as performing favorite songs, understanding concert performance dynamics, and exploring the emotional storytelling in music.
Beyond violin, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of music. My goal is to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students can build confidence, enjoy consistent progress, and develop a lifelong love for music.
