About Abina
I am Anina Abraham, and I love to teach because I want to share my knowledge with others while learning is gamified and collaborative. Students work in teams on exciting products like creating a podcast series or a digital magazine instead of just writing five-paragraph essays. The Friendly Part (Personalized Help): Class time is primarily dedicated to the Workshop model. After a super-quick Mini-Lesson (10-15 minutes max), students spend the rest of the period actively working on projects.

1. Mini-Lessons (10-15 Minutes)
The lesson starts with a concise, targeted instruction session focused on a single skill . This keeps information digestible and immediately applicable.
Friendly Tone: Use relatable examples, pop culture references, and a non-judgmental approach (e.g., "This isn't hard, it just requires a specific tool, and here it is!").
2. The Workshop (30-45 Minutes)
This is the heart of the class where students actively work on their writing, reading, or project tasks. The teacher moves around the room, conducting individual, personalized conferences with students.
3. Gamified Collaborative Projects (Team-Based Learning)
Instead of assigning individual essays for every unit, students work in small teams (3-4 people) on long-term, gamified projects.
